ENTITY LAB
8th-11th April 10.30-16.00
This is a unique opportunity to work with Kerry Nicholls and Jasmine Wilson, the Directors of Education for Wayne McGregor | Random Dance, hosted by Sadler?s Wells.
As an intensive four-day course directed towards students in vocational training/16+, ENTITY LAB will ignite a new curiosity in generating choreography and refresh students? working practices in the studio.
Beginning each day with a fast-paced and challenging technique class and followed by repertory sessions in McGregor's idiosyncratic physical language, ENTITY LAB will then concentrate on research-based choreographic exercises. These generative task-based choreographic tools will open new doors to individuals? creativity and facilitate innovative forms of making.
The course will culminate in a sharing on the last afternoon of the course and all participants will be able to attend the evening performance on Friday 11th April, of McGregor?s new creation ENTITY at the Sadler?s Wells Theatre.
Cost £60 (inclusive of the performance ticket)
