Steve Hyde
Director of Operations
Steve Hyde's early career was spent in industry as a Research and Development Engineer working on automated machinery.
Steve joined Madame Tussaud's in the late 80s as an Animatronics Engineer and was part of a small team building animatronic figures for their exhibitions and theme parks. Steve left Tussaud's in 1998 as Head of Technical Service for London sites and joined Vinopolis, a major start-up project in London Bridge as Buildings and Exhibitions Manager. He left in 2001 as Head of Operations to join Sadler's Wells as Facilities Manager and became Director of Operations in 2003.

Kingsley Jayasekera
Director of Marketing and Communications
Kingsley is responsible for managing the marketing, press, ticket office and multimedia functions at Sadler's Wells.
Kingsley began his career working on carnival and community arts projects before moving onto Rambert Dance Company, London Bubble Theatre, Digital Classics (one of the world's first providers of streamed arts video) and the theatrical marketing and advertising agencies Dewynters, McCabe's and M&H Communications.
In addition Kingsley is also on the board of Audiences London, the arts audience development agency for the London region, Dance East, East London Dance and the Gate Theatre.

Finance Director
Mark Rhodes joined Sadler's Wells in May 2005. He qualified as a Chartered Accountant with Deloitte, moving to Ernst & Young to work in forensic accounting, covering expert witness reports and commercial disputes. He left to work for the Royal Shakespeare Company, before joining the Young Vic as Finance Director, financially planning the theatre's rebuild. He then joined the National Theatre as Financial Controller, before his move to Sadler's Wells.

Fiona Ross
Director of Creative Learning
Fiona Ross has led Sadler's Wells' Creative Learning programme, Connect, since April 2005. Fiona is responsible for planning and leading an adventurous and innovative learning programme, alongside a distinctive portfolio of strategic pan-London dance projects. Reaching 10,000 annually, Connect realises the theatre's commitment to engage and inspire our current audiences whilst broadening Sadler's Wells' scope to reach people with the least opportunity to watch and participate in dance.
Between 1995 -2005 Fiona worked for Rambert Dance Company, including three years as Director of Education, managing its audience development programme of national touring and site-specific projects. In 2002 she completed an MA in Arts Management at City University.
Fiona is also course leader for Dance Management at London South Bank University, a trustee of Bonachela Dance Company and Chair of DanceDigital.

Georgie Shields
Director of Development
Until November 2008 Georgie Shields was Vice President, Philanthropy at American Express and Secretary of the American Express Foundation in New York. Prior to that she spent six years at Bank of America in corporate philanthropy, marketing and media roles. Georgie began her career in South Africa at BoE Bank - now Nedbank - where she spent eight years working in and then leading the public affairs department. She moved to London in 2008 after almost a decade in New York.

Suzanne Walker
Director of Programming
Suzanne trained in music, drama and dance at the University of Birmingham. She was General Manager of V-TOL Dance Company for 10 years, before taking up post as Interim Executive Director of Northern Stage in Newcastle. In 2002 she began her work as a freelance producer working on a number of co-productions & international projects with different dance and theatre organisations. In 2002 she received a fellowship award from the Arts Council of England and established Dance Touring Partnership (DTP) - a consortium of UK wide regional middle scale venues for which she has produced seven tours.
She was previously a dance advisor for London Arts Board, a member of the DCMS Cultural Industries Performing Arts Cluster Group, Vice-Chair of Dance UK and a British Council Drama and Dance Advisor. She was appointed Director of Programming for Sadler's Wells in October 2006.

Emma Wilson
Director of Technical and Production
Emma Wilson joined Sadler's Wells in 2000 as the Deputy Chief Technician and has been Director of Technical and Production since 2008.
Prior to joining Sadler's Wells in 2000 Emma worked in technical and production management for dance and live arts companies and performers. As production and technical manager she has worked for dance companies, theatres, performance artists, in circus, cabaret, clubs, and for site-specific events. She was also the technical director and lighting designer for medium scale dance and live arts companies, touring throughout the UK & Europe, Australia, and America.
