With the support of Mellon Financial Corporation, Connect set up a project to develop and support a promising young all-male dance group from Holloway School. The Holloway Boyz was a year-round project that provided opportunities for the dancers to engage with the artistic programme at Sadler's Wells through performance visits and workshops.

The Boyz were exposed to a wide range of dance styles through a series of workshops with professional artists including Tommy the Clown (Breakin' Convention), Ben Love from PUSH, The Ballet Boyz, Fondation Jean-Pierre Perreault, Kuldip Singh and Matthew Bourne's Swan Lake. Workshops were accompanied by performance visits and opportunities to perform both in the Lilian Baylis Studio and on the main stage at Sadler's Wells. The sessions were aimed to challenge the Boyz physically whilst enabling them to develop skills such as partner work.

Sadler's Wells continues to support dance activity at Holloway School. Holloway boys and girls are currently working with Hakeem Onibudo of Impact Dance.
