Sadler's Wells is committed to developing tomorrow's artists and audiences. To this end, we prioritise working with schools and young people to foster an enjoyment and enthusiasm for dance from an early age.

Schools can get involved in a wide range of workshops and projects in a range of dance styles. Led by our visiting companies, Associates or skilled freelance dance leaders, these opportunities provide a compelling introduction to dance while promoting innovative and creative learning models and introduce the concept of "going to the theatre". By enhancing pupils' enjoyment of dance and appreciation for the performer, we hope to foster an awareness of theatre etiquette and the role as an audience member.

Long term dance development projects such as Holloway Boyz and Leaps and Bounds, enable us to work intensively with selected North London secondary schools to support the development of dance on and off the curriculum.
