Angelmoth
Following sell out performances earlier in the year Angelmoth returns to the Lilian Baylis Studio for a three week run this Christmas.
Angelmoth follows the bittersweet tale of librarian Pippanouska, and the dispossessed characters that frequent the library as a haven away from the real world. When a stranger arrives one day, he paves their way for a life-changing encounter with the Angelmoth - an ethereal butterfly-like creature with the capacity to make people fly and realise their dreams. But when two of the group suddenly disappear completely into the Angelmoth's world, their friends begin the adventurous journey of trying to find them and bring them home.
Angelmoth is the result of a superior collection of collaborators; award winning choreographer Liv Lorent, couture designer Paul Shriek, set designer Phil Eddolls, writer and narrator Ben Crompton, composer Andy Ross, and lighting designer Malcolm Rippeth. Incorporating elements of dance, music, narration, costume and set design all woven around a new fairytale story; Angelmoth delivers a complete theatrical experience.
Suitable for children aged four and above, as well as all of us who enjoy revisiting childhood fantasies!
