Sadler’s Wells’ annual three-day celebration of hip hop dance theatre and culture, Breakin’ Convention, is back for the ninth year running with performances from some of the world’s best poppers, lockers, house dancers, B-boys and B-girls.

Hosted and curated by Sadler’s Wells Associate Artist Jonzi D, Breakin’ Convention offers dozens of extra events as well as the amazing main stage performances.

Starting in the afternoon, ticket-holders can watch top graffiti artists painting live in the courtyard before heading inside to get involved with freestyle sessions, graff workshops and MC / beatboxing demos. Resident DJs Tha En4cers will provide the tunes til the main shows start onstage at 7.30pm.

With so many events going on around the building, and tickets priced at just £20 or £15 standing, Breakin’ Convention is an unmissable highlight of the international dance calendar.
