I Am Falling explores the enormity of one couples love for each another and how this resonates through their sons life, damaging his capacity to love and his own sense of purpose.

The performance uses text as well as expressive and virtuosic dance to explore the fragmented and broken memories of Tom as he looks back on his parents relationship.

Analysts Mary Morgan and Philip Stokoe will be in discussion with the director Carrie Cracknell and writer Jenny Worton. The conversation will examine the challenging relationship at the core of the piece, as well as the process of development for the show.

Connecting Conversations is an ongoing series of events that brings together practitioners from the world of psychoanalysis with leading practitioners from other fields. The events aim to make connections between individuals, organisations, disciplines and ideas.
