Connect Festival - Connect Festival
The Connect Festival is a vibrant celebration of dance produced by our community and learning team Connect. Connect has a reputation for its innovative and ambitious programme and the annual Connect Festival features performances, workshops and seminar events.
Highlights include the Associates Night which is a unique opportunity for Sadler’s Wells Associate artists, including Jonzi D Productions and Random Dance, to showcase their work with local schools and community groups.
Open Stage gives community groups and emerging artists the chance to perform in a professional theatre, and youth groups will be showcasing their latest choreography in Roar!, part of the National Youth Dance Festival.
Tiny tots will not be left out - Baby Groovers workshops are scheduled for babies up to three years old, while at the other end of the scale our resident Company of Elders, who prove it’s never too late to start dancing, present a compelling triple bill.

Fun, family workshops exploring the story, characters and music of Pinocchio. Led by artists from Opera North, these workshops last 90 minutes and are aimed at families attending the 2.30pm matinee performance. Maximum 3 children per supervising adult. Not bookable online.
