Sadler’s Wells’ ever-popular monthly club night continues in the Lilian Baylis Studio Theatre, with the focus this month on the sexy, spontaneous moves of Cuban salsa.

Salsa means 'Sauce', so you can expect some hot and spicy dance styles for the summer as we bring some authentic Cuban vibes to Sadler's Wells!

As usual, Dance Club offers a chance to be taught by some of the best teachers in the featured genre, with classes available for beginners and advanced levels before the club night begins at 9pm. Afterwards, you’re free to dance the night away to the global sounds of resident DJ Cliffy and guest DJ Rich.

About the teacher

Amanda Maitland has taught salsa in some of London's best known salsa venues, including Salsa Palladium, La Finca, Ronnie Scott's, Turnmills and El Grande, as well as running the hugely-successful aftershow parties for our summer show Havana Rakatan.

While Amanda can teach at all levels, she is renowned for coaching beginners and improvers because of her infectious sense of humour and her support and enthusiasm for dancers who are just starting out.
