Northern Ballet Theatre - Hamlet

In the early 1940s, a young man arrives home from the front. But his home is no longer his own. His father is dead, his mother has married his uncle and the enemy occupies his city.
In a powerful new ballet by David Nixon, with a new score by Philip Feeney, Hamlet’s mind unravels against a backdrop of one of the most terrifying periods of the 20th century. As his world descends into chaos, he no longer knows who he can trust and the boundaries between real and imaginary become blurred in his mind.
- "Contains some of the most powerfully imagined choreography Nixon has created."
