Independent Ballet Wales — How Green Was My Valley
Independent Ballet Wales are a young, vital group of dancers who are pushing back the barriers of classical ballet. Using powerful and timeless stories the company challenges its dancers to interpret some of the finest characters in literature.
Here they present a brand new version of one of Wales' best known stories. How Green Was My Valley is based on the bestselling novel by Richard Llewellyn, an Oscar winning film and an authentic BBC Wales television series.
The production features choreography from Creative Wales Award winner Darius James and a newly-commissioned score by MacMillan Young Composer of the Year Thomas Hewitt Jones.
