Showtime Jérôme Bel - Showtime Jérôme Bel

Jérôme Bel is a cult figure on the international dance scene, recognised for challenging the conventions of the genre and producing highly original work. Born in France and later growing up in North Africa, Iran and South Africa, Bel went on to develop a reputation as an experimentalist, performing with leading European dance names including Angelin Preljocaj. He was inspired to begin choreographing after his time spent with maverick master Phillippe Decouflé on the lavish opening ceremony for the 1992 Winter Olympics.
