Up Close is an exclusive behind-the-scenes experience in our intimate studio theatre with Morphoses / The Wheeldon Company.

This very special show is in addition to the much-anticipated 2009 season by the company on our main stage.

Christopher Wheeldon and Edwaard Liang will each choreograph a separate work to the same piece of music – audiences will have the chance to experience one of the works being created, followed by a performance of each of the finished works and a discussion among the three artists on the creative process.

Music is by cellist Natalie Clein, who will perform Eggshell Walker by Fyfe Dangerfield, a piece of music created specially for her.
