Nefés resulted from Pina Bausch’s travels to Turkey. It features a simple set, allowing a focus on key images - the flowing manes of hair the women toss recklessly, a pond of water and the spectacular choreographic video projection. The piece climaxes in a moment of outstanding beauty with the whole company coming on stage.

An everlasting meditation on love as well as its possibilities and impossibilities. A request to remember beauty, sensuality and enjoyment. Because all of this is part of life.
