Calligraphy / Dance / Animation
Saturday 10 September

To complement TeZukA, Sadler’s Wells is offering an afternoon of activities designed for all the family. All ages and abilities welcome. Children need to bring a parent, grandparent or carer.

2.45 - 3.45pm: Calligraphy workshop – learn the basics of this beautiful ancient Japanese script
4.00 - 5.00pm Movement workshop - Have a go no dance shoes needed.
5.15 – 6.15pm Animation workshop – Be creative and try your hand at your own cartoon character.

Tickets £6 per person (includes all three workshops)

Supervising adults need to be 18 yrs or older, children cannot attend on their own. One adult can bring up to 2 children.

Manga Drawing
Saturday 10 September 4 - 6pm

For people with some prior knowledge of manga, Sadler’s Wells offers you the opportunity to take part in a creative workshop. Professional manga artists will be on hand to take you through the steps of how to create characters and figures the techniques used in manga style in this fun and informal workshop.

Appropriate for ages 15 and above.
