Noé Soulier/Frauke Requardt & Freddie Opoku-Addaie — Mixed Bill
Noé Soulier is one of France’s most promising young choreographers and dancers. He makes his UK debut with a double bill of Le Royaume des Ombres (The Kingdom of Shadows) and D’un pays lointain (In a Country Far Away), alongside Ballet de lOpéra du Rhin dancers Vera Kvarcakova, Sandra Ehrensperger, Alexandre Van Hoorde and Stéphanie Madec. Noé trained at the Paris Conservatoire National Supérieur de Musique et de Danse, the National Ballet School of Canada and PARTS in Brussels.
Frauke Requardt has been an Associate Artist at The Place and is now an Associate Artist at Greenwich Dance. Recent works include Pictures from an Exhibition and Electric Hotel, a site-specific installation based in King’s Cross. Freddie Opoku-Addaie has performed and toured with Candoco Dance Company, Clod Ensemble and Wayne McGregor | Random Dance, among others. He was an Associate Artist at the Royal Opera House from 2009 to 2011.The Fidelity Project is an experiment in which Freddie and Frauke become choreographers from the inside, making live choreographic decisions triggered by the memory of their previous interactions.
