Family Acrobatic Dance Workshop (2 - 4 years)
Saturday 26 October, 12pm & 2.15pm
Sadler's Wells studio

This lively acrobatic dance workshop will explore themes from the show – perfect for children and their families who have lots of energy and enthusiasm!

Using a combination of gymnastics, dance and physical theatre techniques, adults and children will jump, crawl, slide and stretch their way into the forest. Picking fruit from the trees, star jumping to touch the sky and tuck jumping to avoid the prickly forest floor, this high impact session will culminate in the participants helping to build a human forest by supporting, standing, leaning and balancing on each other.

Suitable for: 2 - 4 years and their families
Adult child ratio: One adult per two children
Duration: 45 minutes
£2 per person / same day ticket holders only
Family Technical Workshop (5 - 8 years)
Saturday 26 October, 4.15pm
Lilian Baylis Studio stage

This family workshop explores how Gobbledegook uses video, shadow, music and movement to create their magical shows. Children and families will learn about how the technology is applied to the live performance by helping to build the world.

They will be able to dance in their own forest, jump across the stage to construct a landscape and witness a mini-version of themselves spring to life to dance across their body!

Age range: 5 - 8 years and their families
Adult child ratio: One adult per two children
Duration: 45 minutes
£2 per person / ticket holders only
