Each year English National Ballet encourages its dancers to choreograph their own programme of new work. For 2015, each dancer/choreographer will create a work inspired by the theme of post-war America. As a part of the process, they will receive mentoring from the renowned choreographer, dancer and Sadler's Wells Associate Artist Russell Maliphant, and mentor Kerry Nicholls, as well as musical guidance from Music Director Gavin Sutherland.
The finished pieces will be performed at Choreographics, an event opened by the 2015 Choreographic Competition winner from English National Ballet School.
The six works will be choreographed by Fabian Reimair, James Streeter, Stina Quagebeur and Max Westwell (all English National Ballet dancers), plus two invited guests: Morgann Runacre-Temple and Renato Paroni de Castro.
