"Spain’s pre-eminent dance company” (Daily Telegraph), Ballet Nacional de España is undergoing a creative revival under the direction of the contemporary creator Antonio Najarro.

His recent work, Suite Sevilla, with 35 dancers on stage and live music, fuses cutting-edge trends in both music and dance with Najarro’s unique approach to choreography, and a powerful and evocative score from Rafael Riqueni.

The programme’s second piece is Grito, considered a masterpiece, and first performed in 1997. The choreography, created by Antonio Canales, features the wide variety of styles of flamenco.
