Sadler’s Wells is offering another apprenticeship in Technical Theatre: Sound, Light and Stage.

You will receive practical training working with our experienced crew, while you work towards your Level 2 qualification in Technical Theatre: Sound, Light and Stage, delivered by the National College of Creative and Cultural Industries.

No previous qualifications or experience in technical theatre are required to apply for this apprenticeship.

Apprentices will work across different venues (including Roundhouse) to develop the knowledge and skills needed to become a theatre technician. If you have a keen interest in the arts and working backstage, come and explore a career in technical theatre.

This Theatre Technician Open Evening is a great way to find out more before you apply. You will have the opportunity to:

  • Speak to current technicians about their roles
  • Find out more about the Level 2 qualification
  • Speak to others who have successfully completed an apprenticeship
  • Discover if the apprenticeship is right for you

Applications for the role of Technical Theatre Apprentice will be available here.

Am I eligible to apply?
You must be 18 - 25 years old. If you have a degree or equivalent qualification you are not eligible to apply for the apprenticeship.
