The classic play, The Phoenix Returns Home, is a romantic farce, a tale of love, manipulation and mistaken identity. This was first performed by Mr Mei Lanfang in 1929 and is now one of the most popular of all Peking Operas. It’s packed with drama, comedy and music, a perfect evening of entertainment, full of laughter and enjoyment.
