Free fun for all the family

This Easter Weekend, our foyers will be bursting with an array of free activities, following Vuelos’s theme of flight and invention, before and after the show.

The building will be decorated by artist Anna Bruder, inspired by Leonardo da Vinci’s work and created in her signature style; A Line Art. Illustrating the building with outlines of images, A Line Art aims to transport you into a simple black and white world with splashes of colour.

Casson & Friends present a workshop based on their performance The Dance WE Made, an interactive performance that lets everyone become choreographers. Create your own dance movements in the ‘Lets Make a Dance’ workshop and look out for them in the final performance by the company.

There will also be lots of arts and crafts including hat making, origami bird making, stained glass and screen printing sessions. Head on over to the Lilian Baylis Studio for storytelling with Vanessa Woolf and bring your dancing shoes for a ceilidh with London’s colourful The Ceilidh Liberation Front, bringing you ceilidh music as you’ve never heard it before.

There will also be a family-friendly menu served in the Fox Garden Court Café.

Activities from 1pm to 4.30pm on Friday; and 10am to 5pm on Saturday

Sadler’s Wells Family Weekend is supported by The Three Monkies Trust
