MOVEment is a unique series of short films uniting fashion, dance and cinema in a radical new way. AnOther Magazine has invited seven of the biggest names in fashion to create bespoke costumes for seven specially choreographed performances, interpreted for the screen by seven pioneering directors.

Ten dancers of the legendary Tanztheater Wuppertal celebrate the magic of the everyday in an emotional ballet of personalities and relationships.

Choreographed and performed by dancers of Tanztheater Wuppertal in costumes by Prada; film by Kevin Frilet.

In 1978, Miuccia Prada began designing for the family business founded by her grandfather in 1913. Since taking the helm of the Italian brand, she has turned it from an accessories business into a fashion house, achieving international recognition for her radically innovative approach. Her intellectual style and sincere engagement with artistic creativity is explored through her fashion shows, collections and films. In 1993, she established the Fondazione Prada with her husband and business partner Patrizio Bertelli, intending to “analyse present times through the staging of contemporary art exhibitions”. Her work across the disciplines of both fashion and art has resulted in international awards and acclaim from both fields.

Performance: Clémentine Deluy, Scott Jennings, Daphnis Kokkinos, Eddie Martinez, Thusnelda Mercy, Julie Shanahan, Julie Anne Stanzak, Fernando Suels Mendoza, Anna Wehsarg, Paul White. French director Kevin Frilet worked as an assistant director for Christopher Nolan and Luc Besson before making his directorial debut with Under, a mesmerising vision of submerged bodies in motion, on NOWNESS in 2014. Fallen is the Paris-born filmmaker’s first collaboration with AnOther Magazine.
