Sadler’s Wells’ annual celebration of dance is the perfect opportunity to discover dance styles that you’ve never seen before (or to bring along a dance newbie).

This year’s line-up includes performances from the Dresden-based Semperoper Ballett, with a pair of pas de deux taken from William Forsythe’s Neue Suite and George Balanchine’s glittery masterpiece, Diamonds.

Richard Alston Dance Company offer a glimpse into their upcoming Quartermark programme, with an excerpt from Alston’s new work: Brahms Hungarian.

Rambert2, a new company made up of the world’s most exhilarating early career dancers, returns to Sadler’s Wells for the first time since their debut in November, with an excerpt from Killer Pig, a work of “spikiness and sass” (The Guardian) from Sadler’s Wells’ newest Associate Artist, Sharon Eyal.

Following Mavin Khoo’s Man to Monk: Part 1, Man in the Lilian Baylis Studio in November 2018, he is back with an odissi solo performed alongside four live musicians.

The rising star of the flamenco world, Patricia Guerrero makes a welcome return following her performance at the Gala Flamenca as part of Flamenco Festival London in 2017.

Vicki Igbokwe, a former Sadler’s Wells Summer University artist, brings her company, Uchenna Dance with a work that blends club styles with African and contemporary dance.

And for those that missed Breakin’ Convention ‘18, there’s another chance to catch BirdGang as the hip hop theatre company is back with their piece What is BirdGang?

Come early for the full experience, including front of house performances, live DJs and more.
