Moon Water is available to watch on the Sadler's Wells Facebook page from Friday 15 May at 7.30pm BST. It will be made available to view for seven days on Facebook and YouTube.

World-renowned Cloud Gate Dance Theatre was Taiwan’s first contemporary dance company. Revered around the world, Cloud Gate first visited Sadler’s Wells in 1999, and since then has continued to stun audiences with its unique choreography, transforming ancient aesthetics into a modern celebration of motion.

Set to Bach’s Suites for Solo Cello, founding director Lin Hwai-min’s Moon Water was first performed at Sadler’s Wells in 2002. Inspired by the Buddhist proverb ‘Flowers in a mirror and moon on the water are both illusive’, multiple mirrors and gently moving water gradually fill the stage and reflect the dancers’ movements in a beautifully meditative performance.
