The Young Artists of The National Opera Studio present Opera to Die For, a semi-staged performance of scenes from some of the world’s most sumptuous operas.

The shadow of death permeates each scene, either directly, or through its ever-present threat. The performance will include well-known scenes from Janacek’s Cunning Little Vixen, Puccini’s La bohème, Mozart’s Le nozze di Figaro as well as excerpts from such lesser-known operas as Gounod’s Sapho and Viktor Ullmann’s Der Kaiser von Atlantis.

The National Opera Studio is a world leader in opera training. Based in London, The National Opera Studio provides nine months of intensive training to singers and répétiteurs who have the potential to become the leading artists of their generation.
