Sadler's Wells Digital Stage

Join us online for free dance performances and workshops

Sadler’s Wells presents a programme of full-length dance performances and workshops online, to keep you entertained and connected through dance, wherever you are in the world while our live stages are dark.

If you are enjoying Digital Stage and want to help us while our physical stages are dark, a donation of any amount would be gratefully received.

Right now, all new gifts are being matched, doubling the impact of your support and enabling us to provide a platform for dance artists at this time.

Digital Stage

Facebook Premieres

The programme launched on World Theatre Day (Friday 27 March), with filmed dance performances available to watch live together with an online audience, or on demand for seven days thereafter.

Family Dance Workshops

Workshops created for young children aged two to six by dance artist Cherie Coleman, who runs Family Friday sessions at Sadler’s Wells. Ten family workshops are available online via the Sadler’s Wells YouTube channel, with themed activities including textures, shapes, sounds, and colours, and storytelling sessions based on fairy-tales such as Little Red Riding Hood and Goldilocks and the Three Bears.

Company of Elders Workshops

Workshops for adults over 60, inspired by Sadler’s Wells’ Company of Elders programme, are available online via the Sadler’s Wells YouTube channel. Each workshop is inspired by a different dance form, with sessions hosted by expert dance artists from around the world and a new workshop added each week.

Stay tuned as further details of our Digital Stage programme are updated regularly, with more information added to this page and announced via Sadler’s Wells’ social media channels.
