This summer, get yourself on the dance floor!
YFX is back for a second year with a week-long celebration of young dancers, makers and movers from across the UK.
This year, our workshop programme for experience dancers will be brought to you from a range of artists and UK Companies: Boy Blue, Far From The Norm, Uchenna Dance, Studio Wayne McGregor, Hofesh Shechter Company and our very own Academy Breakin’ Convention.

All workshops are FREE and take place at Sadler’s Wells East in Stratford.

Uchenna Dance Workshop With Shanelle Clemenson

Far From The Norm Workshop With Jordan Douglas

Be pushed to your limits and introduced to the company’s signature style, navigating physical movement through a dynamic blend of street dance styles. The workshop will focus on groove, improvisation, and developing individual movement, as well as exploring repertoire from Until We Sleep.

To make sure everyone gets the most out of the experience, please review the following before registering:
Age Participants must be between 11 – 24 years old.
Experience These workshops are designed for dancers with experience. A minimum of 2 years of consistent training, classes, or battle/performance experience is required. Classes will move at a fast pace with deeper focus.
Level Descriptions
To help you choose the right class for your skill level:
General Level: Open to a wide range of dancers with at least 2 years of experience. Instructors may adapt exercises, but a solid foundation is expected. Not for beginners.
Intermediate: For dancers with 3+ years of experience, comfortable with technique, terminology, and freestyle. Classes will move at a faster pace with deeper focus on execution, musicality, and concept development.
Advanced: Designed for dancers with extensive training and battle/performance experience. These sessions push creative boundaries, refine control, and demand strong technical understanding. Expect to be challenged physically and mentally.
