Dancing at Dusk

Dancing at Dusk returns to Digital Stage to celebrate the North American tour of The Rite of Spring/common ground[s]. Delve into this stunning film, as Pina Bausch’s iconic choreography is danced in an extraordinary setting, on the beach in Toubab Dialaw, Senegal.

Introducing the next generation of choreographers
BLUE MAKWANA, Elisabeth Mulenga, Maiya Leeke and Sula & Roseann make up the 2023 – 2024 cohort of the Young Associates programme. We support exceptional young dance makers aged 18 – 24 and 18-30 for d/Deaf and disabled choreographers, providing a crucial first step into their career as choreographers. These videos are a look into their unique creative perspectives.

Choreographer Conversations: Akram Khan
In this 45-minute discussion, filmed in front of a live audience, renowned choreographer Akram Khan recounts his life and his career… from serving plates in his dad’s restaurant, to choreographing the London Olympic opening ceremony for an audience of millions.
