Juilliard + Rambert School + Studio Wayne McGregor

The Juilliard School, New York and Rambert School, London have partnered for a yearlong collaboration with Studio Wayne McGregor, culminating in an original, boundary-pushing performance.

Each school initially worked independently with artists from Studio Wayne McGregor to create a stand-alone piece. Juilliard premiered its work as part of New Dances: Edition 2025 in December, while Rambert School presented its piece during its Pre|View performances in March.

This spring, students from both schools came together in New York to begin the next phase of the collaboration, developing additional material under the guidance of the artistic team at Studio Wayne McGregor. Juilliard students then traveled to London in April to join Rambert School for an intensive rehearsal period led by Sir Wayne McGregor at his studio space in the Queen Elizabeth Olympic Park. Together, they expanded on the material created in earlier phases, shaping it into a full-length work. The culmination of this international partnership will receive its world premiere at Sadler’s Wells East in London.
