Sadler's Wells is committed to providing accessible routes to our artistic programme and engaging with people who would not otherwise come to the theatre or participate in dance.

Get into Dance is a new engagement scheme designed to reach new audiences within our local community in Islington. The initiative is delivered in partnership with local organisations, housing associations and community centres working to improve wellbeing and social inclusion in the borough.

Local residents on low incomes can join Get into Dance through referral from one of our partners. Upon joining, members can purchase £3 tickets for four of our performances a year for themselves and up to four guests, for a period of two years.

The scheme aims to further strengthen Sadler’s Wells relationship with local communities and open up dance to a wider and more diverse audience – particularly those from low-income households, over 60s, young people and people with disabilities.

Our goals for Get into Dance include:

• Encouraging new audiences to experience Sadler’s Wells’ shows
• Highlighting employment and training opportunities at Sadler’s Wells and The Peacock
• Inviting local residents to career open days, rehearsals, backstage tours and events
• Inviting members to join participation projects and take part in community productions
