Vogue is an art form all about expressing yourself and feeling free and empowered.

In this series, we explore some of the basics of voguing, including geometric arm movements, poses and a short routine to practice at home.

Diva is a dance artist and teacher from The Iconic House of Miyake-Mugler, where she teaches the history, culture and art of voguing. She is joined by Ting-Ning and Max, who are trying out these moves for the first time.

These workshops can be adapted for different levels and abilities and some workshops can be done seated.

Practise a series of leg movements in true vogue style, where every step is a pose, just like your very own photoshoot. We also throw in some simple hip movements for a touch of sass and attitude!

Diva guides us through some of the basic arm movements used in voguing. We explore adding details to ‘make it spicy’ and find out how to become a power teapot!

Strike a pose! Diva introduces some of the poses of vogue, to create shapes, lines and angles with our bodies. It’s all about exaggerating your movements and bringing out your inner supermodel.
