Breakin’ Convention Has anyone seen Michael?

This event has passed
A close up photograph of Michael, a high school age boy dressed in his uniform.

An unexpected disappearance of a missing teenager, triggers a classroom discussion about the possibilities of his absence, exploring friendship, conflict, young London’s tension with police and the dualities of culture between generations.

Written and performed by the young people at Out the Box, a Breakin’ Convention youth project funded by Islington Giving, who have been working on the piece for 12 weeks from idea to stage.

The night will showcase a short film, musical performances from the young people and the premiere of “Has anyone seen Michael?”
