A practice-based workshop as part of the Disabled Artists Programme. This workshop will contain sections of movement and discussion.

Zinzi Minott is an award winning artist who has forged a path between visual art and dance. She is known for her large scale productions that weave together dance and film with powerful visuals and large sonic landscapes exploring the relationship between bodies and politics.

She works with archival material and her own devised technique called The Unruly Body, a movement practice which focuses on body autonomy and movement as a radical practice.

This open session is part of the Disabled Artists Programme. If this is your first time taking part in a Disabled Artists session, you must first complete the Expression of Interest form and Health & Access Requirements form. You will only need to do this once.

These sessions are for artists who identify as disabled and provide a consistent space for the disabled dance community to cultivate deeper relationships, develop their practice and experience a broad range of choreographic experiences.

Bookings for this session will close by midday on Monday 27 October.

If you have any questions, please get in touch at artist.development@sadlerswells.com.

Heath & Access Requirements

Please ensure you have completed the Health & Access Requirements form before signing up. From there, we can put a range of things in place to best support your participation in this workshop.
