Renowned performer Jesús Carmona (director and creator of The Jump) showcases flamenco in its purest and broadest form in UnYdos.

The traditional allure of flamenco merges with the artistic vision of one of the most prominent artists of the genre. Experience a journey across some of the most emblematic flamenco styles, such as the energetic Alegrías, reverent Taranto, and emotional Soleá.

An intimate performance with powerful moments of connection between the artists and the audience, UnYdos offers an authentic and thrilling flamenco experience. Jesús Carmona is joined by a guitarist and a singer, as well as featured guest artists.

About Jesús Carmona

Born in Barcelona in 1985, Jesús Carmona began dancing at the age of 7. After training at the Institute of Theatre and Dance of Barcelona, he expanded his artistic training with masters such as Antonio Canales, Manolete, Güito, María Magdalena, and Eva Yerbabuena.

After performing as Principal Dancer at the National Ballet of Spain he created his own company in 2012, producing works including Baile de Bestias (for which he won two Premios Max Awards), and The Jump (which came to Sadler’s Wells in 2022).

In 2023, Jesús was appointed director of the Spanish Ballet of the Community of Madrid, furthering his global reputation as a sought-after leader in the artform.
