Thrillingly emotive, three Companies associated with London Inclusion Sports Academy (LISA) perform new pieces at Sadlers Wells. Vivid, dramatic and contemporary, VENN choreographs stories, feelings and ideas that resonate, integrate and empower.

ONE-OFF-AGAIN presents THE LAST STOP

They pass by one another every day without a moment’s thought – but what if commuters stopped to acknowledge each other’s presence and interact?

Featuring a diverse troupe of non trained dancers from across Europe and Asia, The Last Stop peels back the surface of the familiar world to reveal the poetry that lies beneath. Choreographed by Marianne Rouvier-Angeli and the dancers.

NWCINQ presents SELF PORTRAIT

Welcome to the society of the selfie. The latest work from NWCinq a Camden-based group of dancers with learning disabilities – explores a world in which our gaze is turned not outward but fixed upon ourselves.

Frida Kahlo said: “I paint self-portraits because I am so often alone, because I am the person I know best.” Can the solace of solitude be transformed into the fantasy of dreams inside a picture frame? Choreographed by Marianne Rouvier-Angeli and the dancers.

HELLO DISCO presents DISCO HEAT

Hello Disco’s new piece Disco Heat is a technicolour celebration of Disco. High energy, uncompromising and full of impact, this is a total disco experience.

Hello Disco has grown from Sarah Birch’s popular North London, Inclusion Disco-Fit sessions. The health, energy and community that lives in Disco-Fit is present in all of Hello Disco’s work. There is a lot of excitement (on and off stage!) about this new piece from Hello Disco.

This Is It, Upside Down, In Town, and Funky. It’s all out Disco, The Winner Takes It All. And the winner is… Disco!

London Inclusion Sports Academy (LISA) works on the pitch, in the community and at our Academy to drive health, togetherness and opportunity through Inclusion Sport.

This is the first show from LISA Arts. Bringing together these three troupes is the first step towards the creation of our new Inclusion Dance Company. We thrive on bringing people together, and freeing them up to create work that’s unique and their own.
