Celebrating a New Generation of Dance

The UK is home to one of the world’s most vibrant dance communities, where exceptional artists are given the space and support to develop, experiment and shape the future of the art form.

This season, London Dance Collaborative (LDC) and Grad Pro come together for two programmes celebrating the versatility, strength and artistry of a new generation of dance.

The two programmes feature innovative works by choreographers from LDC’s Collab Incubators alongside several new works by Aaron Thao, including the world premiere of Lady M. Spanning distinct choreographic voices and approaches, the programme dynamically showcases artists exploring new ideas and forging creative collaborations among freelance dancers in London.

The programme also places the dancers themselves centre stage, presenting a compelling selection of classical and contemporary solos by former Grad Pro participants. These works reveal the breadth of their training and individuality as artists, from the precision and discipline of classical technique to the expressive freedom and physicality of contemporary dance.

Together, the two programmes offer a rich portrait of the next generation of dance and dancers, bringing fresh perspectives to the UK dance scene.
