Delighting audiences for 19 hit years on The Peacock stage, and based upon the book by Raymond Briggs and the film directed by Dianne Jackson and produced by John Coates, this timeless story of wonder and imagination continues to delight and amaze, remaining a much-loved festive treat for all ages.

With music and lyrics by Howard Blake, including Walking in the Air, design by Ruari Murchison and lighting by Tim Mitchell, The Snowman adventures through snow-covered forests to the North Pole, complete with a visit to Father Christmas and a thrilling escape from Jack Frost.

Twinkling with festive spirit, and with choreography by Robert North and direction by Bill Alexander, The Snowman is a magical mix of exquisite dancing, storytelling, splendid sets and music performed by a live orchestra.
