Get into DanceArgentine Tango
Join Anna Alvarez for a rich and connected dance session rooted in the African, Indigenous, and European traditions of Buenos Aires.
You will learn how to move with presence and sensitivity through Tango technique, improvisation, and playful exploration, blended with Feldenkrais and Contemporary Dance principles. Feldenkrais is a gentle movement practice that develops awareness and ease to improve how we move, feel, and learn.
Anna Alvarez is a dancer, choreographer, movement director, and Feldenkrais Practitioner, whose work draws on her Argentine heritage and a joyful commitment to embodied learning

Do I need any existing dance experience?
No experience needed. Whether you’re a seasoned dancer or just looking to try something new, our friendly instructors will guide you every step of the way.
The classes are designed for you to enjoy a welcoming atmosphere where everyone is encouraged to let loose and have fun.
Where are the classes?
The classes are located on The Dance Floor at Sadler’s Wells East, a public performance space in the venue’s light filled foyer.

Are the classes free?
These classes are free to attend. You’ll be asked to register your details on arrival at the Welcome Desk. No pre-booking is available, so we recommend arriving early to avoid missing out as spaces are limited.
What should I bring?
Bring comfortable clothing, a bottle of water and your enthusiasm!
What are the facilities at the venue?
Toilets are available on level 0, including accessible and gender-neutral toilets.
What ages are these workshops suitable for?
These workshops are designed for adults over the age of 18.
Is there food and drink available at the venue?
There is a water fountain for you to fill up your drink bottle.
Food and drink will be available to purchase from The Well and the Park Kitchen and Bar in the foyer.
