Get into DanceFunky Social Dance
Led by Isaac “Vitamin” Baptise
Vitamin will deliver fun and inclusive social dance workshops for people of all ages, designed primarily for enjoyment. Accessible to all abilities, the sessions will explore a variety of dance styles – occasionally including partner work – and be set mainly to classic 1970s funk music.
Participants will develop fitness, coordination, confidence and musicality in a relaxed, supportive environment that encourages creativity, social connection and a lifelong enjoyment of dance.
About Vitamin
Growing up in a Caribbean family, Isaac “Vitamin” found his love of music and dance at home – some of his earliest memories are of watching his mum dance around the house to her favourite records – before immersing himself in hip hop culture. Today, he is a respected dancer, choreographer and educator, founder of The Imperial Steps Dance Group and Plan Zer0, with over 20 years’ teaching experience in organisations like Step into Dance, Central YMCA, Paddington Arts and École Jeannine Manuel, championing inclusive dance for all.
