Black to the Future Weekend at Sadler’s Wells East
As part of The Music is Black Festival, we’re throwing open our doors for you to come dance with us and soak in the vibes with The Dance Floor is Black.
Each weekend of the festival an incredible choreographer curates a club night responding to different genres of Black British music.
Black to the Future is rooted in ideas of futurism and possibility, celebrating musicians and creatives that are expanding what contemporary Black music and culture can sound and feel like.
For this final weekend, Dannielle ‘Rhimes’ Lecointe celebrates Brit Funk with an Afrofuturistic twist, Fly Kid gets the whole family on the Dance Floor, and Mark Alexander’s Poetic Funk closes the festival on Sunday.
