The Music is Ours Weekend at Sadler’s Wells East

As part of The Music is Black Festival, we’re throwing open our doors for you to come dance with us and soak in the vibes with The Dance Floor is Black.

Each weekend of the festival an incredible choreographer curates a club night responding to different genres of Black British music.

The Music is Ours is a block party in the birthplace of Grime, honouring east London’s Sound System legacy, exploring the impact that Grime sound has had on Black music and culture today.

For this weekend Kloé Dean curates a club night inspired by garage and grime. Plus Fly Kid gets the whole family dancing on the Saturday afternoon, while Breakin’ Convention bring you battles and DJs all Sunday long.
