A dancer wearing a full-face mask - a young woman in a high-necked, white evening gown – looks up towards a glitterball. Squares of mirror flake away from the glitterball and fall down on her, while her feet are hidden by a heap of bin bags crammed with rubbish.

Masked masters of physical theatre, Familie Flöz present a playful and sentimental tale of a wayward wedding.

Acclaimed masters of mask-performance, Familie Flöz return to the London International Mime Festival for the first time since 2016, with their trademark, wordless mix of sharp observation, sentiment and humour.

A wedding is due to take place in a mansion by the sea. Meticulous preparations are in progress, no detail will be overlooked. But a storm is blowing from Paradise, there’s trouble ahead, and ways must be found for this celebration of love to continue as planned. In the hands of Familie Flöz this clever insight into the life of a town unfolds as the search for understanding and happiness begins.

Founded in 1994 Familie Flöz is an international company of physical theatre-makers based in Berlin.
