Lilian Baylis Studio Access

The entrance to the Lilian Baylis Studio is found on Rosebery Avenue and inside the main building. The entrance has a large sign above the door, saying Lilian Baylis Studio and Stage Door. When you enter through the automatic glass sliding door, tactile paving leads up a ramped floor directly to the reception desk, which is low level and accessible to wheelchair users. The entrance to the Lilian Baylis auditorium is to the right of the reception desk.

The seating in the auditorium is raked with a staircase on either side with hand rails. Wheelchair spaces are available in the front and back rows and there is an induction loop system.

There are accessible toilet facilities close to the auditorium on the same floor.

Mobility Scooters

Please be advised that although you are welcome to arrive at Sadler's Wells and The Peacock Theatre in a mobility scooter, our auditorium wheelchair seating areas and lifts are not suitable for these vehicles. Patrons may leave their scooters in the foyer areas.

Guide dogs

If you are bringing a guide dog you will probably have informed the ticket office when making your booking. However, if you have not, please let the theatre know by calling the ticket office on 0207 863 8000. Guide and Assistance Dogs are allowed in the auditorium.
