Performances originally scheduled until 24 January 2021 at Sadler’s Wells Theatre have been cancelled or postponed. We are beginning to announce socially distant performances for this autumn.

At Sadler’s Wells, we adopt a zero tolerance approach in response to anyone who interacts with our staff or with fellow audience members in an intimidating, aggressive or threatening manner.

Where is Sadler’s Wells?

Sadler's Wells has been located in Islington, near Angel, since 1683. The site has two theatres; Sadler's Wells Theatre and the Lilian Baylis Studio.

What time does your Ticket Office open?

Sadler’s Wells Ticket Office is open from 10am to 8pm Monday to Saturday and generally from one hour before curtain up on Sundays.

When should I get to the theatre?

We recommend you arrive a minimum 30 minutes before the performance starts.

You can soak up the pre-show atmosphere at one of our stylish bars located throughout the theatre.

Sadler’s Wells is also home to our Fox Garden Court Café and is the place to enjoy our fresh salads, daily hot and cold dishes, drinks and cakes cooked right here in our kitchen.

Do you have a cloakroom?

Sadler’s Wells has cloakroom facilities for small items and coats. Please note, storage is not available for large bags, rucksacks or backpacks.

Can I record the performance or take pictures?

The use of cameras, mobile phones and other recording equipment is strictly forbidden.

Can I eat in the auditorium?

Confectionery will be on sale at the sales points on all levels before the performance and also during the interval. Ice creams will also be on sale during the interval. The average price for both confectionery and ice creams is £3.00

Whilst we recognise that people will want to take confectionery and soft drinks into the auditorium, we would ask you to refrain from eating hot food and packed lunches in the auditorium, as this is likely to disturb other audience members and performers. Drinks may be taken into the auditorium in plastic bottles or cups only. Glass bottles are not to be taken into the auditorium.

Are children or babies admitted?

Please note for the consideration of our patrons, children under the age of 5 are not permitted into the performance unless indicated in the show information pages.

Under 2s are free when admitted. Parents and carers are asked to book side aisle seats and to leave the auditorium if the child cries or causes disturbance. We are unable to provide refunds.

A ticket is required is required for anyone ages 2 and over.

Under 16s must be accompanied by an adult.
