Hofesh Shechter - In Your Rooms/Uprising
Hofesh Shechter is one of the UK’s most hotly tipped young choreographers - delivering supremely physical dance with a young, urban feel. The touching magic of Shechter’s work connects immediately with audiences, proved by his winning the Audience Vote Special Prize at The Place Prize.
His latest work, In Your Rooms, is a unique co-production. Starting with a first-stage showing at The Place in March, it was then performed at Southbank Centre's Queen Elizabeth Hall in May, before culminating in this finale performance at Sadler's Wells - in a version which has been developed to include extra dancers and musicians, who play an intense live soundtrack.
