Community engagement

Candoco Dance Company dancers recording a workshop

We want as many people as possible to experience dance. So we invite our local communities, and those further afield, to get involved in the world of dance. We offer a range of workshops, clubs and community schemes that help us reach new audiences, including people from low-income households, over 60s, young people, and disabled people.

Get into Dance

Get into Dance is our community partnership ticketing scheme that invites people from our local areas to experience dance. It’s designed to support new audiences, including people from low-income households, over 60s, young people and people with disabilities that are supported by referrals from our community partners.

If you’d like more information about Get into Dance and to receive our community partnership list to see if you are eligible to join, please get in touch by emailing learning@sadlerswells.com

Five dancers face us in a tight group, all with knees bent wide and arms extended to the sides, palms facing upwards, in a pose from the Indian classical dance form, bharatanatyam. Their faces are serious, the gaze lifted. They wear loose sleeveless tunics and trousers in lilacs, greens and pinks.
