Sadler’s Wells Digital Stage presents Longevity in Dance, an eclectic mix of bold, playful and poignant films and interviews that challenge perceptions of dance and age. Elixir on Digital Stage: Longevity in Dance is a celebration of life through dance, and the inherent desire to keep on dancing.
Elixir Festival Cinema Club
Sadler’s Wells Digital Stage presents the Elixir Festival Cinema Club, a showcase of films by internationally acclaimed artists revealing the timeless beauty of movement and music. Featuring global talents Louise Lecavalier, Aditi Mangaldas, Charlotta Öfverholm, Germaine Acogny, Malou Airaudo, Paco Peña and more, join us for a live screening, where these exceptional films come to life.
This event is free of charge and takes place in the Fox Garden Court Café at Sadler’s Wells.

Motion Picture
Sadler’s Wells Digital Stage presents a series of new films, pairing top choreographers and filmmakers. Collaboration is at the heart of these films – the filmmaker revealing and enhancing the work of the choreographer and the choreographer providing the source material or material for the filmmaker to work with.
Well Seasoned
A celebration of Black dance online in a specially curated programme featuring: world premiere screendance commissions, a new podcast exploring how Black culture influences contemporary life, stories of dance from around the world in a selection of short films by International artists of colour, and a series of ‘Guests Select’ where we invite leading Black Artists to share works they’re passionate about.
Breathless Puppets
Choreographed by Akram Khan and directed by Naaman Azhari, this powerful short film uses rotoscope animation, created by hand-drawing over live action footage.
Our Bodies Back
Our Bodies Back stages the work of acclaimed American poet and performance artist jessica Care moore in a breathtaking new dance film from Breakin’ Convention Artistic Director and Sadler’s Wells Associate Artist Jonzi D.

The Young Associates supports exceptional young dance makers aged 18 – 24, providing a crucial first step into their career as choreographers. These videos are a look into their unique creative perspectives.
