Celebrate how East London moves with Eastbound, which takes us on a dance journey through the heart of its neighbourhoods. Marking the opening of Sadler’s Wells East in Stratford, this film celebrates the rhythms and people that bring East London to life.

A collaboration between Choreographer Kloé Dean and Director Sarah Vaughan-Jones, Eastbound follows dancer Malachi Welch as he races to the new venue, journeying through Stratford Outdoor Market, corner shops, bus stops and the Queen Elizabeth Olympic Park.

En route he meets over 50 people from East London dance groups – Lister School, Langdon Park School, Artistry Youth Dance and Hibiscus Community Centre – who all join us on our journey eastbound.
